KARMIS Az.Vinicola Contini

Un vino bianco Cuvée IGT Tharros Bianco dell’Azienda Vitivinicola Attilio Contini it is the modern reinterpretation of an ancient vine, Vernaccia di Oristano.
Vinified without the intervention of traditional Flor yeasts, in order to obtain a young, fresh and pleasant white from Vernaccia grapes with 20% of the most typical of the Sardinian white grape cultivars: the vines of the former are found in Sinis, young saplings and sometimes old, on sandy soils rich in clay resulting from the floods of the Tirso over the centuries, while the other grapes come from the espalier vineyards on the slopes of Monte Arci, lands of volcanic origin, rich in obsidian.

TASTING NOTES

The appearance of Karmis is a beautiful straw yellow with still greenish reflections, typical of the vines and the result of a somewhat early harvest. On the nose, Karmis offers fresh aromas of white flowers such as lanthany and honeysuckle, citrus peel and tropical fruit such as banana and pineapple, tinged with brackish hues. In the mouth Karmis proves to be a fresh, savory and soft wine, balanced and with a pleasant, fine and persistent body.
