Dedicated to the woman who inspired the birth of the Il Vigneto estates in her time, Donna Rosa is a barrique wine with a strong, spicy flavor and sometimes with an important alcohol content

The places of the Il Vigneto estates are those of choice of Cannonau. The lands placed on the granite ridges of the Lanusei mountain, look towards the south, to the Riu Pardu. There, at 500 m above sea level, the vineyards divide the space with olive trees, cork oaks and orchards while the grapes are enriched with the scents of the scrub. TASTING NOTES

It has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and complex, very varied. From blackberry to currant to the scent of coffee and slightly tobacco. Of great structure, balanced, fine and persistent, very high “souplesse” index. It is suggested to serve it at a temperature of 18-20 ° C.

RECOMMENDED COMBINATIONS

Game in general, specifically the furred one. Stewed wild boar, braised venison, spicy red meats, aged Sardinian pecorino. If you want a first course, a red meat sauce is recommended, which is also very spicy.
